Search Engine Optimization or Pay Per Click which is better?
There’s no straight answer to it, as they “must” work together for a successful digital marketing strategy.
For better context:
SEO is Search Engine Optimization, which relies heavily on content marketing. Hence, SEO is a natural, organic search that directs traffic to your website. This means for you to have success with SEO, you must be successful with the 3 aspects of SEO: on-page optimization, off-page optimization & technical SEO.
More importantly, is that your content marketing must be top-notch. You must provide amazing content for your prospective customers, both for Google to rank you on the top 3 of the first page & for your customers to click on your website. There’s an important part of this equation: Google Algorithms. You don’t have control over it. And if you don’t have control over the ever-changing Google Algorithms, it means you can lose your SEO traffic anytime Google launches a new algorithm update. What does this tell you? You’re not 100% in control. Apart from this, SEO is like “rain”, you can’t predict when it would rain or the quantity of rain you would have. If and when you can predict the time of the rain, you can’t predict the quantity.
Now, PPC or Pay Per Click is a form of advertising where you pay only when your target audience clicks on your advert. Your advert can be search, display, Gmail, or shopping. It can also be on other search engines like Bing, Yahoo, but the most popular platform is Google.
Pay Per Click is totally in your control, as you can determine your budget, targeting, traffic time & so much more. You can direct the traffic as you want to whichever part of your website you want.
However, neither SEO nor PPC is better. Both of them must work together.

You must learn to combine both PPC and SEO for optimal results.
